The Sarawak Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) first opened its doors to businesses and companies in the State when it was established and registered in 1951.
The objective of the Chamber is to promote commerce and industry amongst the diverse businesses in the State. The Chamber has established itself as the communication channel and focal point for discussion and collaboration between Government of Malaysia, Government of Sarawak, government agencies, business associations and other chamber of commerce and industries.
SCCI has Regional Branches in Bintulu, Sibu and Miri to better serve and connect with members throughout Sarawak.
Through the wider Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), and the Brunei-Indonesia- Malaysia- Philippines East ASIAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Business Council, SCCI is able to create a bigger network of business opportunities for SMEs and larger companies.
SCCI has also established good working relationship with consulate representatives in the state, such as the Consulate General of China, Indonesia and Negara Brunei Darussalam. We recognize the need to engage with our regional neighbours to mutually renew our commitment to promote closer integration and harmonisation of markets in this region.
Whilst the Chamber continues to advocate for the growth of the local business community, we thus invite businesses and companies to tap into the database and benefits of the Sarawak Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
