Persatuan Kontraktor Melayu Malaysia or Malaysian Malay Contractors Association (PKMM) was established to fight for the fate of Malay / Bumiputera contractors collectively in Malaysia. The association acts to champion as to voice the contractor's problems to the government.

Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), PKMM Malaysia was established in 1975 as DEWAN PERNIAGAAN DAN PERUSAHAAN MELAYU MALAYSIA and thereafter changed TO PERSATUAN KONTRAKROR MELAYU MALAYSIA or Malaysian Malay Contractors Association (PKMM) which then established branches throughout all 13 states in Malaysia including one for PKMM Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.

PKMM Sarawak is a branch of the national PKMM and registered with Sarawak ROS; Ref: PPM-001-14-11031975-000014

Over the years, PKMM Sarawak has held collaborative meetings with Dewan Usahawan Bumiputera Sarawak (DUBS) and Dayak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) to bring forward suggestions and fresh ideas to state in developing new infrastructure and construction initiatives to develop state of Sarawak.

With funding from Sarawak Government various seminars and conferences were held for local contractors in developing new technologies and adopt latest building materials for local consumption. Moving forward, PKMM Sarawak look forward for more continuous development projects for its members. All members’ core businesses are in the construction and development of infrastructure and thus registration with CIDB Malaysia is a must with over 150 active members covering all divisions of Sarawak.
