Sarawak International Business Exhibition and Conference (SIBEC) 2018 to feature exciting range of speakers from the public and private sectors

The inaugural Sarawak International Business Exhibition and Conference (SIBEC) 2018 is bringing a range of high-level speakers to Kuching on 12 and 13 October 2018 at BCCK.  With over 20 international experts and local industry specialists speaking to the theme of ‘Digital Technology Drives Business’, SIBEC 2018 will provide delegates and exhibitors with insights of the State’s plans to leapfrog Sarawak to Industrial Revolution 4.0. Organised by the Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) and endorsed by the Sarawak State Government, the event will foster public and private partnerships focused on the real needs of industry players in the state.

SIBEC 2018 will be officiated by the Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, who will lay out his vision for Sarawak in 2030.  Backed by expert speakers from industry and research to provide real workable solutions for Sarawak businesses looking to capitalize on new opportunities available under the digital revolution. Topics for discussions will include precision farming, digital tourism, disrupting technology, angel investing, entrepreneurship, online business and more.

Targeting 600 delegates and 50 exhibitors, SIBEC 2018 will focus on the industrial sectors central to Sarawak’s economic development – energy and power; trade and industry; and agriculture.
